The young espionage program, or the YEP, is a program that employs young children off the streets who are well-versed in thievery and lying. Our agents work all around the world to make the world a safer place. Using their childish innocence, they can infiltrate even the most secure bases.
Our base is located in New York City, in a skyscraper for the "company" YEP, or the Yemen's Easy Payments headquarters, a "loan company". Above ground floor are the dining hall, recon room, recreational room, training room, and of course the apartments. The apartments are all gray walled, one-room apartments with a full-size bed and a television. On the side is a table and a bathroom. All come with a high-tech laptop and tablet used for missions. During downtime, the YEP initiates are welcome to roam the building, provided they do not enter ground floor and blow our cover.
Initiates are required to wear an earpiece at all times during missions. Failure to do so will result in termination. Please consult your mission director, Mrs. Tien, for more details.
As a spy, you will be required to give up some priveleges. During the weekend, you are allowed to roam the streets, but only with parental guidance and a face disguise. You will be paid and all your living requirements fulfilled, but be warned that there is no chance of you retiring. Once you pass the age of 15, you will be transferred to the Adolescent Espionage Program, or AEP, and once you reach 18, you will become a full-fledged spy. Total anonymity is crucial in this process. In entering this program, you pledge your life to espionage.
Should you refuse, an agent will come and burn this note. No harm, no foul. But should you spread word to others, you will be quickly taken care of.
So, basically, you're a spy of the age of 10-16 and you're in the YEP/AEP. Both are hosted in the same building. You will be sent on infiltration missions and interact with other kids. Each person is taken off the streets and generally is good at lying. You will all have a reason why you came to this program and how you ended up on the streets. You can customize your room, but nothing too drastic or fancy. The story will begin with everyone entering the mess hall.
-No mary sues/gary stu
-No being op/powerplaying
-None of these kids are licensed to kill, and probably won't kill ever in this entire story, and their back story may not include them killing people.
-If you have read this far put yep in your other section
-All kids must be 10-16
-You cannot harm another oc without permission
-try to keep genders balanced
-shipping of any kind is allowed as long as the other person agrees
-your back story may be hidden or "false" if you want to use it as a character development later on, but it cannot change the entire plot.
-This is a "realistic" role play, so no fantasy stuff
-They're kids. Try to remember that.

Why they joined the program:
How they ended up on the streets:
Description of room:
Personality: She's quite a liar, for good reason. She believes that if you show weakness, you're done for. She appears quite carefree and helpful, which she is, but is deeply insecure and mentally unstable. Zara worries for every ones well-being, and is a mother figure to the others. The only times she shows weakness is when it is beneficial to her. Zara often piles work on herself because she feels it is her duty to help others.
Appearance: Zara is an asian tanned skin girl with black wavy hair that has natural highlights and chocolate brown eyes. She wears a blue v-neck high-low t-shirt, with a cropped blouson jacket that's white, gold, and blue. Her pants are 3/4 cut navy blue, while her shoes are generic gold-colored shoes.
Abilities (good at lying, etc): She's a skilled liar and people person, and good at sleight-of-hand. Not only that, she can sacrifice her dignity to get what she wants.
Flaws: she's insecure, touch-starved, and suffers from PTSD
Likes: aesthetic things, helping people
Dislikes: being alone, being disliked
Why they joined the program: Zara liked the idea of helping people and she wanted a place to call home.
How they ended up on the streets: She ran away and made it out on the streets, where she survived.
Backstory: She says she grew up in an orphanage.
Description of room: Her room has gray walls, as all of them do, and a pastel purple bedspread. Her headboard and bed frame is white oak, and she has three pillows, all pale pink, on her bed. Her bedspread has an elegant white curlicue pattern on its edges. She has a nintendo switch, but only one game on it. Her laptop has a pink decal on its cover.
Other: It is implied that Zara perhaps changed her name.
