*Maelie was on her computer, apparently video chatting with one of her friends.
“Hey, Faith, do you like this bracelet?” she asked, holding up some black and white knotted strings. “You’ve always been telling me to try more crafts. What do you think?”
“Yeah, it’s great,” Faith said, seeming distracted. “Listen, Maelie, I wanted to talk to you about something. I haven't told anyone else this. Can you keep a secret?”
“Of course I can,” Maelie told her. “You know you can trust me, Faith.”
“You're right, of course. So, I --”
*The screen went black. Maelie quickly plugged in the computer, and it slowly rebooted. She tried to call Faith again, but as soon as she clicked on her contact, the screen went black again. She groaned and slumped back in her chair, still clutching the bracelet, not noticing the butterfly that wiggled through her window.
*Secretknower strolled into the park, holding the bracelet, which now appeared to be more of a whip.
((So, the bracelet basically turned into a whip that can lengthen and shorten as she needs it. If it touches you, it downloads a secret about every five seconds it’s on you, and if it wraps around you it downloads a secret about every three seconds. Each one appears as a swirl of white on her black suit.))
