Thank you so much to Necromancer, Grif, Bengal, Enchanted, and Insanity for helping me out with this
12 dieties. Six of light, six of darkness, each designed to combat another. They were in a permanent unrest, turmoil always between them, one side lead by Despair, wanting to destroy, and the other by Hope, wanting to save. Eventually a peace treaty was made, designed so that one god or goddess is unable to interfere directly with another. The God of Despair was not finished with the battle, and transferred some of his power into a vessel, a human vessel. Realizing this loophole in the treaty, the other gods of darkness did the same. The Goddess of Hope quickly caught word and she urged the others to help her do the same. The gods now have their own respective vessel, meant to destroy another.
The only thing is, who's fighting for despair, and who for hope?
Gods and Abilities(for Vessels):
Estragos, Bear God of Despair: Estragos' vessel is able to create sadness and despair in any creature with emotion, and is able to manipulate darkness enough to seem invisible at night and can shadow teleport short distances
Anguem, Snake God of Fear: Anguem's vessel is able to create feelings of paranoia, fear, and anxiety within any creature with emotions. They are able to slightly change their appearance, but nothing crazy, like gender bending.
Forcasus, Raven Goddess of Death: Forcasus' vessel is able to manipulate death and sickness, choosing who to kill, though not gauranteed, and who gets sick with a minor sickness(flu, cold, allergies, etc)
Mara, Tasmanian Devil Goddess of Wrath: Mara's vessel is able to fight better with fueled rage and can cause a disturbance or fight by instilling wrath unto others
Codicia, Cat Goddess of Greed: Codicia's vessel is able to attract metals, mainly precious metals and can turn invisible when looking for wealth.
Denter, Rat God of Jealousy: Denter's vessel can cause envy and jealousy in others, and can easily manipulate people like cutting into butter.
Lecora, Rabbit Goddess of Hope: Lecora's vessel is able to instill inspiration and hope into others, causing an onslaught of ideas or determination. They can also manipulate light to seem invisible for short periods of time.
Locitas, Lion God of Courage: Similar to Mara's vessel, Locitas's is able to fight better under rageful conditions, but can instill confidence in others as well, and can sound more courageous than they are without trouble.
Ciatus, Bat God of Rebirth and Life: Ciatus' vessel can revitalize small animals and plants, and even resurrect small animals. They can also grow plants from any area with wet dirt.
Rustig, Swan Goddess of Peace: Rustig's vessel is able to create a feeling of peace and tranquility in a radius around them, compelling people to stop fighting. They can also manipulate and create mist clouds.
Donum, Turkey God of Generosity: Donum's vessel can compel anything to give them whatever they have and is able to manipulate memories slightly, like change a certain detail.
Gemoedsrust, Dove Goddess of Forgiveness: Gem's vessel is able to heal wounds, any that aren't fatal. They can also wipe the guilt off someone's mind, "forgiving" them of past deeds.
