*Hm, let's see... *beware, I'm one of those forumers whose responses are WAY too detailed...*
I knew that I'd love WoF as soon as I started The Dragonet Prophecy, but I never considered myself a full WoF fan until I read Legends: Darkstalker.
I guess that you could say that it is that one book in the series that is really great, but it's always overlooked. I read it right after I finished book 6 (Moon Rising) and I was like; who is this Darkstalker? When I realized there was a book about him, I exploded. (Perhaps literally.)
the reason I liked it so much was not because I love character backstories, but for something else entirely. The characters in LD (Darkstalker, Clearsight, Fathom, etc...) all seemed to be so... real. None of them were flat-out nice, or, on the other hand, completely evil, they all had so many different motives and sides. I especially liked Darkstalker's story (I guess that you could call meh a Darkstalker fannnn..... XD) ... his character development was like none that I had ever seen in a book ike LD before, no kidding.
So, yep, I'm a FanWing now, thanks to LD. I even write most of my posts in red and black now. Sorry for wasting your time (lol)
