As I live in the UK, Wings of fire isn't sold in anywhere near me, and hence my late discovery of it. About three years ago, an online friend reccommended the series to me. I've always had a dragon obsession, so I thought I'd give it a try. The Dragonet Prophecy was AMAZING, and I was hooked already! But the book that stood out to me was certainly The Lost Heir. After finishing it, I was so in love with the series I read the rest of the first arc within a month. I can't exactly tell what it was that I loved about the book, but the Sea Kingdom is just so dazzling and intriguing.
Starting the second arc, I didn't feel the same love, possibly because I was sad that my favourite dragonets had come to finish their adventures. Fortunately, reading Winter Turning got me right back into the fandom. I cant even express my love for that book, it has to be my favourite in the entire series. From then to now, my love for the dragons of Pyrrhia (and Pantala!) has become stronger than ever before, and I'm impatiently sitting here, counting the days until the release of The Poison Jungle.
In conclusion, The Lost Heir and Winter Turning deepend my love for Wings of Fire significantly. I can't imagine what I'd be fangirling over now if those two books hadn't come out!
