The god was pacing in circles, albeit slowly considering Bliss was latched on to one of his legs. It was clear that caring for the bubbly seven-year-old was taking a toll on him. His hair stuck up in random places—was his grey streak more noticeable?— and the circles around his eyes were even darker than normal from lack of sleep. They looked to be in the middle of something.
Bliss was screaming, showing off an impressive set of lungs for a child. "Don't leave! I want to play a game! I'm bored! And hungry! Don't leave!"
Oprhos tried to shake her off, but to no avail. "She's like a squirrel." he grumbled to himself. "I have work to do, kid, and I can't do it with you around."
"So if I don't let go, you have to stay?"
"Ye— no, that's not what I meant—"
"Then I'm not letting go. Ever!" Bliss crowed.
Orphos groaned in exasperation. He looked like he was at his wit's end.

When it’s time for you to venture out, don’t let fear have you looking back at what you’re leaving behind.
