My Venus flytrap is growing a new jaw. I've only had it a few weeks. It was in the garden centre at a VERY low price and, after showing interest in it, my parents brought it for me. After looking it up, I found out it was in poor shape but it soon perked up after living on my windowsill. One of the jaws died and I looked up why. Turns out it died to make energy for new jaws, as each jaw only lasts 2-3 months. Now I've got two shoots and one incredibly small, still closed jaw. My parents say that if it grows I'm allowed more carnivorous plants. It's currently outside, enjoying the sunlight and the flies you get around ponds. You probably didn't want to know this but hey.
