Active: usually every day
I am here to call out the mods for their neglect, tumblr-style. As a seasoned forumer active for almost 3 years, I can tell you of the injustices the mods have wrought.
Over the three years, I have seen several cases of neglect. The mods ignore problems and hardly address issues. It is unlikely that this will change. I know this because I have seen it over the span of 3 years.
For example, I can remember countless threads being locked or deleted without a word. You could argue that this is the mod’s job, but I disagree. Take some recent incidents, like with Hurricane. This post did not clearly violate any rules. There have been worse things said. It may have been “too sensitive for children”(which I disagree with, but I’ll touch on that later), but to delete it without a word is silencing voices. Now you could argue that they don’t silence people making threads about this topic, but people are unable to see the genuine source, relying on word of mouth which may twist the story and create and unreliable source.
The mods don’t listen. People get banned for no reason, and sometimes they ignore it. Sometimes they unban them, but mostly people get banned without a word or definitive explanation. This is another example of neglect that the mods shed on the forumers.
It is not the mods job to regulate minor drama, but when they are serious matters they need to be addressed. The mods don’t address them.
The mods are insanely inactive. This isn’t a big problem, but when people call on them with important questions (such as the case with hurricane), they are silent. They say they want to regulate order but ignore the forums. I understand they have a life outside the forums. I do too. But I can still regulate my countless amount of wikis.
Additionally, there have been several glitches that go unfixed and the mods never seem to fix it for good. This might be a little nit picky, but it is important to know that this is your site, and you need to take care of it.
The mods claim they want to make the forums a place that is family friendly, but this doesn’t sit right. They delete things like the post about hurricane yet won’t delete a post about h*tler. If I was mod, I wouldn’t even let that post go through! It is ridiculous that they claim to be right when they can’t even regulate the right things.
Not only that, but they let rampant homophobia and other things go on for weeks (No, I am not talking about Angel). Maybe if a post was up for a day it would be fine, but sometimes the problems go unresolved! And they are so out of touch with their community. As a forumer, I want to know what’s going on. I want to know why my post was deleted, or what is or isn’t allowed. If all we get from you is silence, of course we’ll be fed up.
The Idea of Oligarchy
This forum is, objectively, an oligarchy. there is no doubt about it. From the evidence I have shown, the mods were not put in power by us, and do not work for us. They control the forums and rely on public obedience. They put “be nice to the mods” in the rules, making it irrefutable evidence that they are putting the forumers in a position where they are powerless to rise up.
The idea of an oligarchy is not bad. But they have shown that they are unfit for their jobs and cannot control the forumers.
If you have read this far, you can probably tell that I have done my research. As a forumer, I know the community and I understand their problems, unlike other mods who are out of touch with the forumers. I know what to do in situations since I am from the modern era and as a younger person I can provide a fresher take on situations.
I have previous experience with being a mod in other places such as discord or wikia, and have a core grasp of html. I handle situations clearly and I can relate to many people, unlike the mods that deleted the thread about hurricane.
I believe in forgiveness and understanding. People make mistakes. If I were to be a mod, I would be able to address situations well, instead of just deleting the thread.
Theres no guarantee I’ll be able to moderate for a long stretch of time, but that doesn’t seem to be a problem because none of the mods are very active anyway. That being said, however, this is an important community to me and I try to stay as connected to it as much as I can. It is unlikely that I’m the coming years that I’ll drift from it so soon.
Yes, this forum is for children. But children are not idiots. People can see that this is wrong. You need to run your forums responsibly.
In conclusion, down with the oligarchy! The mods don’t seem to care, so I will take the matter into my own hands!
Yeah its a joke but make me a moderator please

The mods are capitalists
when the light is running low
and the shadows start to grow
and the places that you know
seem like fantasy
