After checking in, Dellow strolled to her assigned room. She got to the stainless steel elevator, the distorted reflection looking back at her. Floor six, she reminded herself. With a beep, the doors opened to a posh hallway before she knew it. The carpet was a black and white triangular pattern, and the walls were solid white with black leather couches and cedar tables for what seemed like every twelve steps.
She veered into another hallway, tracking the numbers to her own room. 357. There. She slotted her key card into the lock, and it gave a beep and unlocked the door. As she turned that handle and went into the room, she smelled a wave of that weird new-scent they you smell every time you're in a new car or something. This hotel must be very new, she thought. Either that or they have very good housekeepers. Her suite had a living room with two black leather couches, a mirror on the wall, a large TV, a desk, chair, kitchen, fridge, coffee maker, bathroom, queen size bed, room service button, another TV, another couch, walk-in closet, and basically anything you.d want in a luxury suite.
She changed her shoes and loaded her things into her unnecessarily large closet. She decided to explore the hotel more before her dinner. The pamphlet she had taken said they had three pools, a waterpark, large Japanese Garden, a complementary dinner, breakfast, and lunch every day, a dessert daily as well, an arcade, climbing wall, and more. Dellow seemed to have her moneysworth.
When she arrived at the elevator somebody else was waiting as well. "Hi!" said Dellow, shyly. The person seemed surprised but happy at the greeting. She gave a perfect smile and spoke. "Hello! I'm Ellysia, who are you?"
"My name's Dellow. How long have you been staying here? I just checked in."
"Me too! About an hour ago. The receptionist is really nice. KitCat, I think? Anyway, you coming to the dinner?" She replied. "Yep! I can't believe they serve all that. This place is just wow." Ellysia smiled as a they arrived at the bottom level.
The receptionist grinned as they passed. Her name plate said KitCat, so Ellysia was right. The smell of chicken and bread made Dellow's moth water. She looked down awkwardly. "Um, are you planning on sitting with anyone? I'm not." "Me neither!" She replied. They took their seats at a cute table in the dining area. The place was decorated with many plants, and a little stream coming through the posh tile floor.
Before dinner was about to start, another person came to their table, in front of a vacant seat. "Excuse me, is this seat taken?" She said. "Not at all! Please sit down." Said Ellysia. "Thanks. I'm Andalite."
"Nice to meet you, Andalite!" Said Dellow. A waitress came up to them and handed them menus. "Hello. My name is Dasiy, and I'll be serving you tonight. What would you like to drink?"
They ordered their drinks, and later their food. The meals were delicious, and they had a good time. After, the decided to take a walk in the Japanese Garden.
"This place is beautiful!" Said Dellow. The garden had quiet trickling streams and large draping trees and colourful flowers. People were strolling through, gazing at the natural beauty. There was a fountain with lights, and as the evening went on the fountain displayed dazzling tricks with the colourful lighting and water mixture. An ampitheatre was in a clearing, with a complete orchestra playing The Four Seasons, Spring l. Allegro. (A version of the classical piece) the sunset cast a glamourous glow on the garden. Andalite checked her smart watch. "We should go back, dessert's pretty soon."
When they made it back to the dining hall, a table was set with mouthwatering desserts. A girl with a white uniform came up to them, holding a silver tray. "Hello, my name's Fairydragon. Here's some milk, cookies and brownies Everything else is on that table over there, you can call me if you need anything." Fairydragon made her way back to the kitchen.
They all agredd the dessert was delicious, though the brownies did seems to disappear quickly. The people at the tables were enjoying themselves, until they heard a crash.
This is just a random story I decided to make. Stay tuned for more chapters! More people will be in it. You can also request to be in it.
