It’s been a while since I’ve read The Lottery and I’m too lazy to write a paragraph but I remember having to do this as well.
- The weather is described as very nice which contrasts with the violence of the story
-Tessie is encouraging to her husband when he goes up and picks the paper which ultimately leads to her death
- Tessie complaining about how it isn’t fair at the end of the story is ironic because had it not been her being killed, she would have been perfectly fine with it
I have no idea what Canada’s law system is like.
