i forgot to post about this when it happened but several days ago we had a debate in history class where we were randomly divided into two teams: hamilton and jefferson and basically whichever team you were on, you had to defend their political views and explain why they were right and the other guy was wrong. here's the catch though: you had to act in first person, so like team jefferson had to say stuff like "i, thomas jefferson, believe (blah blah blah)" and it was absolutely hilarious because everyone got so into it
