Today has been A DAY y'all! Exciting days ahead for our not-so-secret project.
@Shion I've considered it! There are no rules against it, it's more of a time thing and also a "if I join one, people will want me to join theirs too" thing. I try to pop in on some threads every once and a while and sort of ended up RPing in a SAMB thread a little while ago, so it's likely to happen more at some point ;)
@Sorrel I read through what was going on - it seems like you and Callisto ended up figuring things out! I'm glad it ended amicably. The posting delay probably didn't help matters since it seemed like there were some posts that came through in a weird order and added to the confusion.
@Greatness Is it the new thread "There it is, Greatness again"? If so, try sending it through again. You didn't do anything wrong or anything I saw that could be interpreted as bad by the filter. Sorry it's so annoying and finicky sometimes, especially after you put a lot of effort into posts :-/
@Night Ha, it is rare to have two people with the same nickname on the forums! It would be funny if you were obsessed with another mode of transportation, like planes. Then there would be Train Night and Plane Night. Anyways, to your question - shorter posts generally go through first/more quickly because it's easier for the filter to parse.
@Saber I have had a pet die, my dog I grew up with passed away when I was about 16. It's really upsetting to lose a member of your family. I saw both you and Platinum have lost your dogs recently, and I'm very sorry for both of your losses.
How I dealt with it was hard, and honestly I was just really sad for a while. I drew her (my creative outlet, yours may be different), and avoided books/shows/movies with dogs in them for months. Everyone processes pain like this differently, it may help you to talk about your dog to others, share stories and memories, or you may need time to just be alone with your thoughts and feelings. Or any combination of this at different times. Whatever you feel, this place will be here for you.
@Jemmy Scholastic HQ is in New York, so I'm in EST as well. My favorite season is fall and my favorite color changes a lot. I'm feeling teal today. Maybe because I have a teal colored mug with tea in it. and maybe your name is.....Jemmantha!
I won't answer too personal questions because I like having an air of mystery. Who am I? Do I actually exist? Am I just an advanced AI? You'll never know!
1. I'm a huge Doctor Who fan :D
2. This is my job! One and only.
3. I wish I had pets. I have friends with a cat so I just pretend she's mine and take a lot of cat photos like a true cat mom should.
4. I love watching snow fall when I'm inside and drinking hot chocolate, but after a few hours snow gets really gross in NYC :( We get terrible slush puddles on street corners that look just like pavement, then you step in them and....ick. Really hope you're wearing waterproof shoes. BUT when in a more rural place I just love snow.
@Fallon Thank you!! ^u^ Honestly, just trying to post again can sometimes work. I feel like I'm always saying "the filter will get better" but I think it really will - I talked to the developers about having some way I could have more control over posts getting through or not.
If you could make a TV show what would it be about? Would it be multiple seasons or a limited number of episodes? What genre?
Oooh a new forumfic by Stormbringer, called "The Chimaera's Code": /348078
