Also, guess what's coming out in just a few weeks??? Wings of Fire book 12!!!!!! Who's excited?
@Ivy what a happy coincidence! Happy early forumversary :D
@Brine I could 100% see this being his type of video. I wonder how many pies he could eat. Probably thousands.
@Cora the sign-up thread is here: /348924
@Gleam Heckin' yeah!
@Grendel I love those types of videos and this idea is really nice! Delicious fruit feasts prepared by RainWings and SilkWings sharing honey with Pyrrhian tribes. Maybe he'd also do videos like "inexpensive version of a food vs medium priced version of a food vs incredibly expensive version of a food". Can't even imagine what Peril would be like making videos xD
@Night Looks like you've already tested, but as long as you're not saying something like "I am currently in _____" you should be fine mentioning real locations like the Empire State Building, airport names, etc. through. Town names probably not but airports and highways should be fine.
Since you're doing a forum secret santa, what would the characters of Wings of Fire give each other in a secret santa or white elephant? (White elephant is when everyone brings a gift to an event and goes around in a circle picking one randomly to open. Once you open it you can choose to keep it, or swap it for someone else's gift. It gets INTENSE if there's something multiple people want.)
Two big new posts I'm seeing!
One is the Forum News Commitee - I think having a forumer-run newspaper is an awesome idea. My two cents for forumer of the week is random selection, and I love the idea of interviewing a forumer of the week. I'd shy away from a voting/nomination process for the reasons others have stated. Could also have people submit themselves for consideration and select randomly from the list. Thread here: /348822
Second is the Forum Secret Santa! Really nice, festive idea that if you're interested in you should check out. There are a few threads with details: /348750 Prim's sign up thread: /348924
