It’s located on the outskirts of the medieval sect. It appears to have been constructed of black marble columns, with specks of quartz embedded in the stone. The heavy scent of incense and rosemary wafts into the open air, and you can barely make out the voices of a few people on the inside.
If you enter, you notice that a few strange creatures are kneeling on the ground, murmuring a prayer. On the wall is a large carving of a black dragon, smoke wreathing around its wings. Is that... Septimus?
The creatures suddenly turn to you — and they look unlike anything you’ve ever seen before. They appear to be humanoid dragons of a sort, although they’re lacking wings and a tail.
One of them — their leader, presumably — lets out a startled hiss. Her face is almost completely concealed by a black veil, and her scales gleam bronze in the candlelight. When she opens her mouth to speak, her voice is neither welcoming nor distrustful.
“Greetings, traveler. What business do you have with our temple?”
