So, uhhh... what do you think of Bullet Ant? I'm going to get into some role play right now! (You might want to read my first post, page 16 of Roleplay:Hybrids Please!)
Characters: Skyfrost (epicdragon3051's Skywing/Icewing), Slash (stormdragon2940's Leafwing/Hivewing), and Bullet Ant.
Slash circled Bullet Ant, his bright green scales glowing and the golden-black spots giving an eerie glow in the moonlight. "You have what I want," He hissed. "Give me the beetle!"
Bullet Ant brought the jade beetle closer to her chest. "I would never give it to a LEAFWING like you! Go back to your home in the jungle! Leave with your distraught girlfriend!" She shot a glare at Skyfrost, who had puffs of smoke coming out of her mouth. Bullet Ant reared back. Skyfrost was going to use her icefire.
She shot up just in time to see a glowing mass of fire and ice cannon from her original spot. The purple dragon unhinged her jaw, and shot a pool of venom at the Skywing hybrid. Slash quickly pulled her down, nudging her scales. "You're going to pay for that!" He roared.
Purple and green mixed in the moonlight. Bullet Ant blasted fire at Slash, who at the same time raked his claws down Bullet Ant's side. She roared in fury, and felt her wing run cold. She whipped around to see Skyfrost looking at her, no trace of pity in her eyes.
Bullet Ant pinpointed the exact time the Skywing let her guard down, and shot a blast of venom straight for her wings.
Just as she did so, Slash grabbed the jade beetle Bullet Ant was holding and threw it at the venom. It melted away. A tear ran down his cheek. "That was my last memory of the jungle..." He whimpered quietly. He shot out his wrist stingers and aimed for Bullet Ant's heart.
It was the battle of the quickest. Fire and ice, venom and poison. Roars of fury and growls of pain filled the night air, until Bullet Ant froze in her place.
Slash's wrist stinger was jabbed straight through her wing.
The world became dizzy and disoriented. The last stream of venom Bullet Ant shot out landed directly on Slash's right wing. Before she blacked out she could see Skyfrost's palms lighting up golden, and red talon catch her curled tail, and a warm sensation fill her bones.
"Slash! Slash! Slash, wake up!" A female voice cried. Bullet Ant opened her eyes to see Skyfrost crying, looking at Slash's damaged wings. "Oh, sorry... I must've done that." Bullet Ant groaned. Skyfrost yelped and shot a blast of icefire at Bullet Ant. Blooms of red blossomed on Bullet Ant's sides. "Why are you attacking me? Especially after you literally saved me too! Sky, listen. I want to say.... thanks, I guess. I could've died,"
Bullet Ant looked at her wings, which were good as new.
"... and you fixed my wings. It's like that moon-head never attacked me." She flicked a talon over at an unconsious Slash. Skyfrost winced. "Oh, uh, sorry for.... ruining your boyfriend. Maybe I can wake him up." Waltzing over to Slash, she clenched his snout closed and plugged his nostrils with grass. A few seconds later, Slash was sputtering and coughing. "You." He hissed. Slash opened his wings up and let them soak in the sun, and then immediatly slammed into Bullet Ant with all the energy possible. Oh, yeah, she thought. Leafwings can do that sun-energy thing. That's why he was so easy to defeat last night.
"You owe me a BEETLE!" He roared, opening his wrist stingers again. Skyfrost tumbled into him. "Stop, you narwhal. Bullet Ant's on our side. She's even thinking about stealing the Jade Rose for us."
All the anger in Slash's face faded away. "You are? By the stars, you are!" He leapt out of Skyfrost's arms and did a twirl in the sky. "What do you mean I'm stealing the Jade Rock for you two moon-heads?" Bullet Ant hissed. Skyfrost blew a puff of ice into the air. "Jade Rose, for your information. It's very important to Slash, and somebody stole it from us. You are strong; we know that from yesterday. So you're going to steal it for us. Think of it as a way of paying me back." The red dragon said.
Bullet Ant walked up to Skyfrost, staring blades into the Skywing hybrid's eyes. "I don't do favors for anyone." She growled malicously. Skyfrost barely gave the Rainwing hybrid a glance, who's scales were so red she could pass for a Skywing. Skyfrost dug her talons into the grass. "I could've let you die yesterday. I healed you, and this is how you repayed me." The Icewing-Skywing bared her teeth, and a tiny shred of worry dug into Bullet Ant's brain. She let out a deep breath, her scales returning to their natural purple-pink-gold. The white-green lingered around her tail's tip. "Fine." She finally said.
"Where do we begin?"
