@Fantasy

Yes! That will definilty help with RoR/ATttF! The more we understand about the time (even fictional versions), the better.

One thing we should probably do is separate RoR and ATttF, and once we choose we can use the other one for different ideas.

@Fantasy and Legacy:Sounds good so far!

I don't know if this'll help or not, but prior to the French Revolution, there were three castes:The Priests, who were the richest, The Nobles, who were the second richest, and Everyone Else, who were basically peasants, servants, or something like that, and were basically very poor.

I think I remember that! Idea: What if the dragons have a tense relationship with the Priests thanks to the main justification of dragon slaying during the Middle Ages (Note: Religion isn't bad! My family is Christian (I'm an unknown, but not really atheist/agnostic, more "Why can't all deities/religions/myths coexist), and very accepting, rather I'm basing it off the kind of crazy Mediaval times, but everything was crazy back then) (Also I'm sorry if my note sounds off, I have a hard time with intent and emotions for no reason)

P.S! I am working on your dragon species right now!

Me to, yo!

@Everyone

Alright, second rule of business now RoR is seperate, should ATttF be an RP? A FWRP? a Semi-FWRP (In which we make multiple arcs)? Or a mixture?

I'll list the pros and cons of each

RP

Pro

> Stronger story arcs

> Less risky in case most people aren't intruiged

> Less staff needed

Con

> May get drowned out by FWRP/ other RP's

> Could get too crowded all at once

> It is possible the French Revolution is more "Less story, more world" type

FWRP

Pros

> A lot of things at once

> More worldbuilding and tiny details

> More character arcs

Cons

> Little to no story

> More staff needed

> Could get drowned by the other established FWRP's

Semi-FWRP (I'll explain more if needed)

Pros

> More balance between character and story arcs

> Allows for multiple "All threads" events

> Experimental, so we can mess with it

Cons

> VERY EXPERIMENTAL!

> More staff needed

> Requests for arcs could happen

@Fantasy, Lavender and everyone who sees this

They're pretty expermiental and undefinied, but this is how I would do it (I'll add on to this later)

Alright (why do my sentences start like that?), so we have a staff of, say, ten forumers and each one is a good writer/rp maker. These make story arcs that are more specific than an FWRP, such as "There is a group of humans selling the bones of Masscre (dragon term for Middle Ages) victems" that also cannot stand as its own RP, due to being connected with a bigger world. There are also character arcs that can be requested in for a Forumers dragon/human, such as "Pierre lost that duel, his wound looks to be fatal", but only one character arc for each forumer at a time, including staff, so they don't get tyrannical and only doing their stuff. If there's a backload of character/story arcs, the team votes on which to do first, (I'll calll the staff thread, "The Room Where it Happens") we'll also do writing/character/RP idea. contest for when one of the staff leaves, temporarily or permanantly, to replace, and, on the rare occasion, a completly new staff forumer altogether.

Any constructive criticsm for this? *Sips awkwardly from mug*

It sounds like things could get a little crazy, but I think we could manage it. also, the peasants killed a lot of French nobles as well as anyone else who opposed them. Usually, those deaths-or what the people did to the bodies after their deaths-was graphic. The question is, how are we going to acknowledge this but not too graphically for Phil or the mods to reject those posts/threads?

please let this through, Phil.

(INCOMING DORK) If Phil's the mod.. then I am the King (Like a constitutional monarchy) *Puts on crown and cape* Bow to me!

For: BtR, this is a rough sketch of a possible protagionist

Name: Snallygaster (His dragon name is too awkward for humans to pronounce)

Nicknames: Snally, arrogant badger, angry little turtle

Species: Snallygaster, SC subspecies

Gender: Male

Pronouns: He/him/they/them, hates it

Sexual Orientation: As gay as a rainbow turtle (It's a joke about how I think turtles are the gayest of reptiles)

Species!Appearance: (Will be elaborated later) Thin and wiry, with a serpentine and somewhat avian neck, he has a ton of spines and scales that act like a cobra's hood (these are more brightly colored than the rest of him, giving a "back away!" look). His scales are midnight black with deep dark blue manta-like-markings, complemented by his bright red eyes and "third eye" (photoreceptor),  his wings are spined, but long and narrow like a falcons, sometimes even looking feathered from afar. His tail is somewhat thicker than normal, ending in defensive spikes, which helps with his semi-aquatic lifestyle. He also has some extra spines on his hips that connect to his wings, in order to compensate for relativly awkward manuvering. His head is long and archosaur-like, with a crocodilian air, although his eyes face the front of face instead of the sides, along with long curved horns finishing his menacing appearance.

Individual!Appearance: Snally has a long scar on the front of his beak, along with a slight freckle pattern along his face and neck, akin to a Cuban Crocodile.

Personality: I'll ellaborate on a different thing

Species!Abilities: Can hold his breath for a few hours, swim and fly fast, he can also detect heat through pit sensors and a Jacobson's Organ, his hood protects his neck and spine. Being similar to a crocodile, he has a stronger bite than most dragons, along with a punishing tail-slap. Other than that, he has normal hexapod abilities, such as sharp talons and powerful hind legs.

Individual!Abilities: He can write and speak English, although using a quill is odd thanks to having claws and being five 5'7's long (28.5) ft long. He's also good at debating others. Can draw animals to a certain degree. Finally, he's a slightly better than average duellist (as in territorial fights) due to being brash and reckless.

Species!flaws: Lungs are large, and while they are okay with collapsing for a short amount of time, they are easy to puncture once you get through his ribs.  The muscles opening his jaws are somewhat weak, so if you find a strong chain, you could actually keep his mouth shut. He's not a stamina flyer, and will get exhausted after a certain time. He's also extremely terrified of being captured or contained, although this could be an individual trait.

Individual!Flaws: Reckless and impulsive as heck. Will often do actions or say this without thinking. Has a difficult time reconciling with different opinions than his own. He's not good with shallow conversations, such as the weather or gossip. Finally, he has a paranoia of being contained in small spaces or not hearing from his friends.

Backstory: Will be explained in the first chapters of BtR
Other: Wonder how he'd react to South Carolinians such as Henry Laurens and Timothy Pickening, probably badly.

Among Us, ATttF, and RoR posts incoming!

@Everyone

Among Us ideas

My idea is that this should take place in 1700's Britain, perhaps London or Mordiford, (a small town with a deep dragon/related history) and it would be the least action-packed compared to the others, but more dramatic, like Phantom of the Opera. I'm also wonder if it should be more dragon based or human based.

Remember the Revolutionaries (Remember our Revolutions) Ideas

Should this be the plan if ATttF forumers want an American Revolution counterpart? The others are questions it shares with ATttF

ATttF: Should historical figures be allowed to appear in cameos, such as Louis XVI's Fate? What should be our stance of anachronism? (I was thinking nothing insane, but at least a basic understanding of things that didn't exist, like phones and stuff) How will the French Fries (ATttF dragons) relate to Large  Hams (RoR) and Shepherd's Pies (AU), along with unmentioned dragons, or should they not appear/mentioned at all? I'll bring up more thoughts later.

Don'thinof thiagoodbyethinof iaa "seyolater."

Also, I have this weird quote idea for ATttF

Person/Dragon A: *lifting a mug in a tavern* A drink to the brave,

Person/Dragon B: *also lifting a mug* Raise a glass to the cunning,

Person/Dragon C: *joining glasses with the others* A toast to the free,

Person/Dragon D: *raising a mug, joining with the others to say the last words* Because you don't know what they did to be that way.

Requiem/Legacy

"Teach me how to say goodbye"

"Rise up! Rise up! Rise up! Eliza!"

"My love, take your time"

"I'll see you on the other side"

"Raise a glass to freedom"

2014-2019

*Ooooh that's the best! Especially with Haagen-Daaz's French Vanilla*

BtR could just be in the same story as ATttF, but I have the idea that they A. send lettrs, or B. courier dragns take the dangerous flight/swim across the sea in order to keep the Refugees (dragons from Europe who escaped during the Middle Ages by going to other continents, just to stay alive) and their families together.

@Sorrel

Gay Turtles do exist! Jonathan and Frederica (Now known to be Frederick) the tortoises are together.

Arrogant badger actually got me through school once, I kept a ton of (unflattering) nicknames for American History Figures, including

Thomas Jefferson: Swivel Chair (or TJerkferson if I was irritable)

George Washington: Washingmachine (for politics, Dad)

James Madison: Jemmy (Or Sicky)

John Adams: John Anger

James Monroe: ??????! (Or High-school-guy)

Alexander Hamilton: Attention Boy, (or Badger)

Aaron Burr: Bad Luck Guy, (Or Burrito)

John Jay: Bird guy (or Bird)

George Mason: ????????????!!!!

This somehow got me through multiple classes *shrugs awkwardly, taking a bite out of the mug, tastes like peanut butter*

New question!

Should ATttF forumers be allowed to have human characters, or should we be exclusivly draconic?

Interesting... *takes another sip, momentarily giving Sorrel and Legacy slightly puzzled glances* but maybe we could do both. I'm thinking we should have more dragons than humans. Some humans might want to help the dragons
