I mean, that would just seem super awkward if I'm just chilling here, and it turns out I'm the only grown-up and everybody just assumes I'm a kid. Sure I still feel like a kid, mentally, but still, it would just be a little weird.

Um ... we have some like, eighteen-year-olds, but you might be the only adult. But I'm just glad to see more people have joined the Wings of Fire cult! They made covers that were supposed to appeal more to grown-ups. Like, instead of the 2D colorful pictures, they have 3D covers of close-ups of the dragons. Which ones do you use?

I think the 3D covers are for China. I like the original covers personally.

Actually, i think it's intended for adults, I mean, read the stuff! Death in every corner! Also very sensitive topics are in there too.

Hey, guys. I know this is going through tough, but we will stick through this together. I have my fam, and they have me, but right now, we are ALL family.

Main fam: Nim, Ocean, Legacy

I know like if my mom knew there was LGBT in it, she would stop buying them for me.

I don't know if Rad (wrestlingreader13) is on WoF but he's on 39c and he's an adult.

Actually, I'm pretty sure Wings of Fire is intended to be a kids' book.

And uh, LGBTQ+ actually doesn't qualify as a sensitive topic to many supporters, because it's just love.

But it kind of is for grown-ups, because in the prologue of book 1, Hvitur's wings are shredded, an egg was dropped down a cliff. Then later throughout the book, Peril sets Horizon on fire, Glory melts Scarlet's face, Tsunami cracks Gill's neck, and also Fjord melts too.

I'm going to quote Scientist here ... this series is dark.

And that's why it would be hard to make into a movie, trying to keep the tone of the books, it could be too dark for a kids' movie, but too animated for a teen and grown ups' movie (for some reason, they think everything animated is too cartoony. It's annoying, because they are only missing out on a lot of good stories.)

They could take out most of the gore and violence like they did in the graphic novel.

Still, at least with the first one, it's a pretty dark and depessing tone.

My mom reads and enjoys it. She's over forty. You don't have to be a kid to enjoy a kid's book. I mean, just yesterday I was reading Chicken Soup With Rice, and I really appreciated it.... Mostly because of nostalgia.

During the last few days, let's take some time to enjoy these forums, and each other

I didn't say only kids can enjoy kids' books. Sometimes I also like reading things that are below my reading level. I'm just saying, I think the target audience is kids, considering that there's a forum for it on a website that claims to be for children 7-12. Granted, it's pretty dark for a kids' book, but Warriors is pretty dark too, and I'm pretty sure it's also a kids' book.

Wings of Fire is found in the children’s section of Barnes and Noble. On Wikipedia, the genre is labeled as fantasy, young adult fiction, and children’s literature. The WoF books are distributed by Scholastic, which mainly focuses on creating books for a younger demographic as well as for the adults that support children, like teachers and parents.

So, I guess the target audience is children but can also be enjoyed by adults,,, which has already been stated by most people here

also, Coolcat325, is your username a reference to anything...?
